Just bought these things to keep me whiskey bourbon cool without watering it down. Dunno how good a deal it is the original price seems a bit steep but I've never seen these before so thought they were worth a mention.

I'm sure google would've produced cheaper results. Thanks for posting but please try to make sure its a bargain before posting. $19 for 6 ice cubes isn't be considered cheap let alone oz bargain worthy.

Cheaper at just about every where i look. Not to mention no shipping cost.
Sorry but you got rip off.
These are useless even for 50 cents
Tough crowd…
Good point.
It takes 334J/g for water to undergo a phase change from solid to water (ice to liquid water).
Steel has a specific heat of less than 0.5J/g*K, which means that even if we take a density of 8 into account and an initial temperature of -20C, water will still cool your drinks five times better!
And that's even disregarding the specific heat of ice.
So you can use all six of these metal cubes or just a single ice cube.
Watering down your drink… which is a crime against certain spirits.
Ice/cooling is a crime against certain spirits.
If it's such a massive issue, why not store the spirits in the freezer then?
Or do pretentious people not like that solution either?
Wow, angry and judgemental much? Go relax and eat your McDonald's cheeseburger.
two words: Liquid Nitrogen
That's four words
Congrats! You pass at maths! Now time to go for that basic english school…
Freeze grapes and use them as icebcubes they don't water down your drink.
for wine, not spirits.
grapes in your whiskey is a bit fruity to say the least.
The Professionals.
You got RIPPED OFF!
If you get a sack of goon and put it in the freezer you can squeeze out the alcohol as it melts before the water which takes higher temp to melt. Makes pretty good drinking when mixed with sprite rather than wine.
Dunno how good a deal it is
Maybe you should've tried finding out before posting
