PS4 - Pricematched at Big W for $493.20

Hi,

I owe it to Jase2801 who posted this deal here: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/138061

Not wanting to wait 2-5 days for my PS4, I phoned around and got a price match at Big W. Had to bring proof of offer in-store. Luckily, this was just before the deal expired and the page disappeared.

I don't know how useful this is to people, but I've attached my receipt here, as a 'giving back to the community' type of thing. Hope at least someone can do something with it!

P.S: Hoping someone can help me out.. any good deals on PS4 games? Interested in current, big titles, hopefully around the $60 mark.

    The price matching policies now have changed at Big W. they are not allowed to call competitors if they have stock which is pretty good

      Yeah it was quite simple:
      - Ring, discuss situation, asked to come in-store.
      - Took one glance at my phone (no adding to cart, checking for stock, reading T&C's etc).
      - Discount applied with no issues.

    Yeah. Had one pr*** that HAD to use the computer even when we showed it on our phone. Then he went out backed and called Dick Smith. We walked away straight after that. What a complete moron

      He followed his store rules and didn't trust dick smith who is notorious for having low stock.

      In what way is he a "prick" or a "moron"?. Actually sounds like a genuinely good employee to me. One that follows the rules and does his job correctly.

      Perhaps I should go to your place of employment, ask you questions that require further information, and then call you a prick and a moron for not doing what I wanted you to do before the required information was obtained. Sounds fair doesn't it?

      Your attitude as a customer leaves much to be desired.

        I already said they're not suppose to call competitors about stock availability. So maybe you should stop making assumptions before commenting :P

      They generally do pricematch. Never had a problem price matching at JB Hifi
