I'm planning to head to Japan on my week off work and was wondering where I can get a cheap flight to Japan from the 11 to 20 April. I just missed out on Jetstar's sale last week so I was wondering if I can still get something cheap?
Looking for cheap flights from Brisbane to Japan

I'll go ahead and contradict what lord henry said above me and say the flying from the Gold Coast is a bad idea. You are having this holiday smack bang in the middle of the school holiday period, so it's more costly than any other time. Jetstar seems to be able to do $1200 return from the Gold Coast, which is absolutely terrible considering it doesn't even include baggage.
Meanwhile, Singapore Air is taking off from Brisbane for the same price. Singapore air in seen as one of the best airlines in the sky today. You get the widest seats, best legroom and best service. You fly an A330 from Brisbane then can connect to an A380 from Singapore to TYO or Osaka.
I cannot stress this enough, do not go for the gold coast option over Brisbane, especially when airlines that do not base their prices off of Australian school holiday dates are operating in the same price bracket as those airlines based in Australia
I booked before the Jetstar sale (and also missed the specials), but when I looked singapore air options ex BNE seemed about as expensive and also involved substantially more transit time (like, over 15 hours total).
That said, BNE to Gold Coast leg would probably add an extra 2 hours to your travel time, so make of that what you will.
In my opinion your options will depend on what you personally priotise. I don't think there is a clear-cut best choice (Personally, I ended up booking a Brisbane-Cairns-Tokyo flight even though it was more expensive).
Thanks for your help guys, Jetstar just started having a sale for the week I needed to book. All sorted out and awaiting my trip
My advice is to consider flying from the Gold Coast.
When I went, it was much cheaper to fly from the GC than it was Brisbane.
Of course you might then need to get the bus and train which takes a while, but is actually cheaper than going to Brisbane airport because there is no surcharge.
