Just got a nice new Marantz amp (SR6003) and want a decent set of 5.1 speakers to complement it, around 1-2k, along similar lines to the Jamo s606s (http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/592424-REG/Jamo_S606HC…), i.e. stylish, big fronts and good music reproduction as well as home theatre.
If anyone has had any recent experience in speaker shopping or knows of some good deals/ places willing to do good deals, I'd really appreciate hearing from you. It seems the markup on speakers is absolutely huge so I've heard shops have a lot of room to move.
