Western Union transfer fee not as bad in Vietnam

Since a lot of OzBargainers are seemingly going to Vietnam I thought I'd share that it turns out the evil scam-facilitating corporation Western Union actually has a more tolerable transfer fee system (in addition to the ~1.75% conversion fee) for Vietnam when compared to Thailand and Indonesia. For example, you only pay $10 to transfer $500 to Vietnam compared to $50 in Indonesia (and $11 to transfer $2000 compared to $100 for Indonesia).

A bit less to worry about when you lose your debit card.
