    and bargains? prices????

most of their sales are crap.

    • A guess might be in the docket.

  • I picked up one of those keybroads for 19.95 6 months ago at DickSmith……

  • My Ipad actually fell from the keyboard tray and the screen smashed :-(, be careful when you have to take off the silicon shield before it can fit onto the keybroad tray, I learnt my lesson.

  • any headphones deal?

    • 35% off RRP

No Bose that I can see. There's B&W P3 though and the usual Senns, Monsters, etc.

      • how much is the P3? should not be better than the recent Amazon's deal?

        • $279 minus 35%.

  • Another HN bites the dust :)

    • I reckon there will be more…went in to have a look not long ago- ie: this month (Maroochydore, Qld) was like a ghost-town

That M'dore HN centre is an awful place.

        • Do like the underground parking tho.

Sadly lacking most places (maybe due to flooding issues ?)

        • Yeah, likely due to flooding… and theyre cheap.

        • i see what u did there…

Pretty sure most of the better stuffs will be shifted to other shops…only leaving items which are not worthwhile for them to move?

    • Depends, when I delt with HN most (if not all) stores were franchises and order their own stock.

So they're likely to discount down to off load some of their floor stock.

Seagate 4TB external for $165 (25% off RRP).

    50% off Multifunction printers

Overall pretty underwhelming really, didn't buy anything.

    • thats a decent price for Australian 4tb. the cheapest have always been Amazon US ones

      is this for USB 3.0?

I love how these guys start selling at the prices they SHOULD be selling at all along only when they are closing down!!!

Gone are the days of 100%+ markup my friends…

Playing devils advocate, they still need to run a business and make money, even if it's using a pre-internet business model.

  • I've been in there a few times and generally find that store lacking any bargains. It'd be a shame to see the only HN store in the Sydney CBD within walking distance of my work go but guess the rent must be high in that location.

    Logitech Ultrathin for $44.97

Sounds more like something you'd pick up from the chemist, not HN!

5th April is the last day.

I am remotely impressed by the offers there. The discount is off RRP, which sounds pretty like what a normal HN shop usual listed price.

  • call me sceptical; but I think the prices will only go lower next week as it is currently does not appear to be much more than a "normal" price discounted off the RRP.

  • Any keyboard and mouse combo special?

    • Keyboard and Mouse are 30% off

Has been on for a couple of weeks… signs on Martin Place level saying "ALL STOCK MUST GI", except that most stock is ticketed at the same price it was 2 months ago.

  • G3rry is in charge of the Pric3 tags lol

  • Gaming Accessories 20% off, I picked a PlayStation 4 Camera for $70

Found some real good bargains today even though the store looked like a tornado hit it.

I was surprised Microsoft Surface items were 50% off. Managed to pick up some cases for my Surface RT and Pro 2 plus the last USB to Ethernet adapter. You won't find that as a normal ticketed price, I've been eyeing that stuff for a while now, you'd be lucky to get it at a 10% student discount via Microsoft.

Also noticed a Skype TV Cam in a locked cabinet, asked if it was for sale and if so how much. It was 70% off, did a search here and the price was as cheap as past deals.

Despite what's been said, if you have time during lunch have a look around. Especially for those who are looking for something specific which is never at a reduced price. Good luck!

  • Went down there at lunchtime and still could not find any OzBargain worthy prices. There were swarms of fairly clueless looking shoppers and the stock looked over half liquidated (or probably relocated to other stores).

    • All look like zombies with no intention buying anything

  • No Sim Starter Packs on sale.

Salesman told they were transferred to other Harvey Norman stores!

    Waste of time!

  • What is going in there once Harvey Norman leaves?
