      I think what hamwhisperer is saying is "supporting censored games, period." Just buying it is an indication to the people who made it that this behavior is permissible.

        Australia always get stuff censored anyway. L4D2, Ninja Gaiden, Saints Row 4 and many more. There are 2 reason for this censorship. One being Australia and another being sensitive people.

        Have a look at what South Park creators have to say:

        They realise how sensitive the video game community is and decided to go ahead with the censorship. You know how video games always get negative PR for shit like CoD is a massacre simulation yada yada and GTA teaches kids to steal.

        As long as the world does not mature on his topic, censorship will go on forever. Whether we decided to support or not support it, it will not make a difference.

        Might as well grab what we can and patch the hell out of it :P

    The censorship board in this country is a joke, they banned a game on PS3 called "Syndicate", got a copy from Ozgameshop(That I found, but not directly, through other games advertised here), played it through and wondered what the fuss was about and why it was banned as I didn't think the reasons given was valid enough. As far as South Park is concerned, the funniest game I have ever watched on Youtube, want a copy bad, I also believe the game does deserve an 18+ "R" rating but to be edited the way it is, is ridiculous. Like alot of things in this country, we always miss-out or/and are left behind because of Corporate Greed/Monopolies(Game of Thrones) or ridiculous policies that the "Do Gooders" impliment, no wonder Australian people are the most rampant "Pirates" on the planet

    So what is the alternative? Australia has a board that dictates to the developers what they can and cannot release, the developers have no choice.

    Would you rather they cut the scenes out entirely, across all versions because of the Australian board, or would you rather they didn't release the games in this country?
