    Thanks for the awesome research.

I will get mine from Target… Should support those that offer the best price.

  • What are most people doing, getting it now or wait for a price drop/bargain?

I'm considering getting it now since nextgen day one games have not gone down in price since last years launches, or in some cases prices have gone UP (bigw $68 games are now gone).

Btw, good work Chux on doing the homework on this!

Bought it yesterday through the US xbox store (with aussie gamertag) for $60 US dollars and have been playing it with not much lag at all :) definitely best deal you can get at the moment.

Actually, the even better deal is $62.99 Canadian dollars from the Canadian store. With a 28 Degrees or Bankwest Platinum, it's pretty much 1:1 to the Australian dollar.

It ain't OzBargain if you're not optimising a couple of dollars. :D

      • What state only has $2.99 in tax? Yeah I used 28 degrees for the purchase :)

        • Alberta.

      • I know this is a stupid question but how do you get to the canadian store and download. Tried but said page not found when i clicked on download from store. Keen to get the digital copy as don't plan on trading and hate needing the disc in drive despite having it installed.

Cheers for any help at all!

        • It's easier to go to xbox.com, log in to your email address associated with your gamertag and change your country to Canada (English) by clicking on Australia at the bottom left hand corner of the page, then go here :)

Exactly what I did. Downloaded from the Candian store and used my 28 degrees card. $63AUD including tax. Use a fake address from Alberta as they only have 5% sales tax.

@docmartin just go into settings on your xbox one and change region to canada. Then add your credit card and create a fake Canadian address using Alberta as the province and find an Alberta post code. Then head of the games store and purchase. Once if finishes downloading just change your region back to aus or whatever one you were using before. Can swap and change as much as you want and games will work on all regions.

    • Diiilpickle just outta curiosity did you pay with a credit card or with Microsoft Dollars? I have some dollars in my account already so if it works this way it would work out pretty well for me…

      • +1

Note that the MS Dollars are tied to your regional account. I have some in my Australian account and can't use them in my US account.

        • Thought this might be the case. Cheers.

      • With credit card, 28 degrees has good exchange rates, seems like Canadian is the better way to go though.

Thanks everyone! Downloading now from the Canadian Store, using points too! I hadn't changed my points to $ but after creating an account it said I needed to make a one off transaction. I did this while on xbox.ca so it converted it into CA$62.64, how lucky was that!:)

    is it orgin?

    • -2

Does it use origin on the Xbox One… No. No it doesn't.

  • Dick Smith have a catalogue starting tomorrow with Titanfall XB1 at $79.98 (and $69.98 Second Son with pre-order).

Also for what it's worth DS have a 12 + 1 month XBox Live membership for $74.95 which I think is about the cheapest available at retail for those not wanting to purchase a code online from OS.

      I'll go you one better:

      • Price match Target price at EB Games
      • Utilise this promo to purchase this for $66.75

Titanfall and 13 months of Xbox Live Gold for $140.75

      • +3

Not meaning to be rude but that is still a lot for xbox live. Can get it cheaper online

      • Sorry but that's still expensive.. I purchased 12 months of live from MS US for $44AUD and then Titanfall from Candian store for $63AUD. Total of $107. Yes you get a physical copy your way but doubt your resale value will be $34 or more by the time you want to sell the game. Plus more convenience with digital.

  • Is there a way to purchase from xbox US using paypal? (i have some US dollars in there already). I've tried linking my paypal to my account but whenever I go to pay for the game it keeps asking to add a credit card. No option anywhere to pay with paypal.

  • Even one better… Target $74 then 12 months of gold from most onljne retailers for approx $48aud

    = $122

  • Annoying that Titanfall is online only, I would have liked some offline modes for practise… Great deal though!
