for those who missed the $9.98 ozito or need more bits for it :)
also Illy Coffee 250g $11.99 ($19.34 at woolworths) which some consider to be better than lavazza

Good find! Anyone use Aldi power tools before?
(Even nicer drill link
http://www.lasoo.com.au/offer/power-drills/taurus-cordless-l… )
I've had the 11V one for a few years now, light but had been 100% reliable, decent built quality, 2 batteries.
This having only 1 battery is a big drawback.
Hmm. My local Bunnings has had an 18v cordless Bosch or Ryobi drill on special for $99 with 2 batteries for quite a while. I presume it's a national deal but can't find it on the website.
I wonder how it compares with the Aldi Taurus. $89 with only one battery… not sure.
No not that one. I'll try to grab a photo today and get some more details.
I can't post images when replying to the thread, but I checked it out and there are about three in this price range.
$99 Bosch PSR 14.4 with 2 Ni-CAD batteries
$99 Ozito 18v with 2 Li-Ion batteries, 3y warranty
$59 Ozito 14.4v 2 NiCAD batteries, 3y warranty
So the only one that really rivals the Aldi unit is the 18v Ozito. For $10 more it at least comes with two batteries. Dunno how much spare batteries cost for the Aldi (or if you can even buy them).
The only problem is its NI-CD battery, anyway it's a great deal with so any attachments.
You can get similar attachments pack at bunnings for $10.
If you are referring to the Aldi drill - it's advertised as Li-ion
Definitely a vote for the coffee which is ridiculously expensive down under
except then one has to go down to see the deal items :)
was going to just link to the page image but then thought that people might like to view the whole catalogue
