Hi, just interested in suggestions & recommendations for a nice hotel in Singapore for a family (2 adults & 2 teenage kids) for 6 nights. Most of the hotel & web search sites dont really search places for 4 people very well (or give a price & when you click through their rooms only have a double bed).
Hotels are quite expensive & you would need 2 rooms. Apartments are hard to find.
Not really sure about the best area, although Clarke Quay looks good.
Really appreciate any suggestions an/or best website to look at.

We always stay at the Holiday Inn Atrium Singaore. It is a little away from Orchard Road but close to Clarke Quay. Prices are the cheapest out of all the Holiday Inn/ Intercon properties in Singapore. They have interconnecting rooms if you want as well.
If you can handle staying at Sentosa, the Festive hotel has a family room that is good for 4. We actually fitted 6 (with 4 much younger kids). It is a free monorail ride to the nearest MRT.
Wotif had discount rates.
The other place we considered that had large rooms was the Strand Hotel.We stayed at Oasia (http://www.stayfareast.com/en/hotels/oasia-hotel-singapore.a…) in July last year and found it to be very good. Very new/clean facilities and a convenient location - much newer/more convenient than Marina Bay Sands, where we stayed at as well. It's literally right above Novena station.
+1 we love the Oasia for kids: great swimming pools and access to trains
