Buying keys is big business, even humble bundle has admitted to revoking thousands of keys due to stolen credit cards. Minimums are there too stop brodens.
Still it's a strange description. Something is free is you pay no money for it (eg advertising catalogues). Being forced to donate is the same as paying for a good or service, therefore not free.

its just a matter of how you inerpret it.
this is ozbargain so people expect a bargain and in this case its a great bargain $3.50 for one of those games and you are helping people out.don't want a free game simply donate on there other page and dont get a game.

how is it a donation when you a forced to pay a certain amount. Definition of donation: A donation is a gift given by physical or legal persons, typically for charitable purposes and/or to benefit a cause. Definition of a gift: A gift or a present is an item given to someone without the expectation of payment. I'm not being stingy put I just wish they stopped using the term donation.
