Hi all,
I am looking at buying something from the UK,
two packages of 12kgs (60cm tall, 35 deep and 25 wide)
The items together only cost about $200 however UPS quoted $750
Can anyone recommend any cheap couriers?
thanks!

Thanks, that was a great help :)
Schapelle Speedy Couriers. But goods may be delayed up to 9 years.
Parcel Force
Interparcel
Parcel2Go
Parcel Monkey
etc etc and these are the ones I remembered…you're spoilt for choice when parcels are ex-UK.
Cheapest is using EMS (which I think basically means using the local post office to do international deliveries). There is usually a limit of 20kg per delivery (either weight of the package, or the "volumetric weight" of the package), so if this tips you over, just split into two packages.
So using your example, and using this calculator http://www.dhl.com.au/en/tools/volumetric_weight_express.htm…
your volumetric weight comes out at 10.5kg. Since the actual weight is 12kg, they will use the higher number to calculate their cost, which is 12kg. You should be fine using EMS with this weight.
Hope this helps.
