  • One of the highest safety rating seats

Not when used as a booster, only 3 out 5…

    4 out of 5 when rear facing…

    • +1

      Yes this is correct.
4 out of 5 is the highest rated so far (for forward facing) so in that regard it IS one of the highest ratings (unless they come out with something that scores a full 5 stars)

      • Comfy Cruiser (infa-Secure) and Maxi Rider Ezy Adjust (Safe-N-Sound) are better being both rated 4/5 stars when used as either forward-facing restraint or booster seat :)

  • +1

we've got 3 of these and can't rate them highly enough - both kids have been in them from 10+months (basically once their legs wouldn't fit rear-facing). You can add a harness once they get too big for the built in straps if you want (babylove ezygo or safe-n-sound protecta plus). No need to spend $300+ on a maxi-rider.

Regular car seat belt can be safer than an H harness in the event of a crash. A significant number of seat manufacturers these days advise against their use.

Yeah its all a matter of preference I think. We couldn't find a comfortable belt over the shoulder height for boy3, so will use a harness for a few months and check again. If you read every piece of information on car seats you'd sell your car and never leave the house!!

        • Have you seen the crash test video?

          Just noticed this:

We couldn't find a comfortable belt over the shoulder height for boy3

At three, he is legally supposed to still be in a seat with an inbuilt 5 point harness. At three, it's little wonder you couldn't get an over the shoulder seatbelt to fit well. Obviously, if you already have this seat, that's not really an issue, however.

  • No Stock in Parramatta.

No stock in Hurstville but there's a few in Moore Park

We have this seat, great value & the CREP rating was the deciding factor in the end.
In the reclined position, it is really easy to tighten the straps by reaching your hand behind the seat & pulling the straps down while using your other hand to adjust the harness & padding on your child, then pull the strap at the front to secure.
We have now switched to the upright position, so can't get the hand behind like we used to, which sucks because we find it hard to pull the front strap enough to tighten the harness nice & snug on a child. Otherwise fantastic seat.

  • Delivery is $50! Yikes..

    • You could perhaps get the dimensions and check the delivery price on E-go?

  • We bought the same seat at Baby Kingdom a few months ago for a similar price.

I don't think you ever need to pay anywhere close to RRP for these seats. I think the 'sale' price is closer to what most shops will regularly sell them for.

    As always, shop around.

  • Cheaper at Harvey Norman

    www.harveynorman.com.au/baby-love-convertible-carseat-cosmic… at Harvey Norman

And I know it says online only but they're available at Big Buys. We know a HN employee so got 20% off

    • Sorry, we couldn’t find the page you’re looking for. It may have been removed or no longer exists.

    • The Harvey Norman one doesn't appear to be the Ezy Combo, so the comparison is invalid.
Also, you link was broken - there's an extra "heaper" at the end :/, the correct one is Baby Love Convertible Carseat - Cosmic
