Logitech doesn't provide drivers for it. So you'd have to write your own.
Is the hardware for a Mac and a Windows based PC that different?
I know that you can grab a regular Logi webcam and stick it in to a Mac and the built in drivers will make it will work, but without specific drivers many of the features will be disabled. Was thinking if you got this, stuck it in to a PC and downloaded the equivalent drivers from Logi (should be same as Quickcam Pro 9000 from the look and spec) it would work?
The Pro9000 works fine on Mac anyway…
I doubt you'd be able to get it working easily, and if you had any problems Logitech would ignore you and you couldn't return it.

HD 720p is only 1mp
2mp is far good enough to handle HD 720p with effective pixel.
For Windows users, you're better off with the Quickcam Pro 9000.
It seems to be a very similar design and almost identical specs, but is for Windows only.
You can get it for $95 from fluidtek or $105 from MSY (or pricematched at Officeworks for $90.25/99.75).
Hmmm, is there anything stopping you from getting this and running it on a non-Mac, but with appropriate drivers?
