The "full" version sell costs $5.49 … it hasn't been reduced
If you read the link I provided above, it shows that there were two apps - Clear and Clear+. They are discontinuing Clear+ and allowing everyone to migrate to Clear by making Clear free today. It IS the "full" version. Clear+ will be removed from the store soon enough, and Clear will go back up to $5.49.
it hasn't been reduced
what a bargain!
???? …. I don't think so!!!!
I must add it to my To-Do List to download this app…
Clear for Mac is still $10.49
I still don't get why this app is so highly rated to be honest.
Neither. It's a user friendly GUI and that's about it.
I'm all for gestures but I hate how they've hidden all the controls - it's pretty counter intuitive to me.
Pull for new item, oh wait it's pull to access the menu too. But only after you pinch it to get up one level. So it's spread to go down a level? Nope, spread creates a new item. Lol…
Thanks!
Thanks OP. Not sure how this is better than the built-in Reminder app, but it's free so I'll play with it :).
Any.do FTW.
Thanks OP.
Anyone got a good app for organising all my "to-do" apps?
It's a nice app, but that price is pretty step considering the bazillion task/to-do apps/services that exist.
Didn't buy it when it was 99c (I think) last time as I didn't think I liked it enough. Now that it's free, albeit meant for a specific purpose for those who paid money for Clear+, I took the opportunity to grab it to have a better look. If I like it, happy to contribute if they accept donations.
Haha would love one for android
just started using this app and it looks great, might take some time to get use to, much better than the iOS 7 to-do list.
It you sign up to the newsletter at the end of the tutorial you get an extra theme: Vanilla.
yay
Vanilla is a bit plain…
Requires iOS 7.x
if you are still on ios 6 and want to download it…
first have the app/game in your account using itunes in your laptop.
now you will be able to download old version which supports ios6
could you elaborate on how to do this? I cant seem to get a hold of the older version
open itunes in your laptop, try to find the app/game from the appstore click on free/download (you can cancel the download if you want)
now you have it in your account
go to app store in you iphone, try to find the app/game click download (the cloud icon)
you will get a notification that the old version will be download…etc
Can someone provide an insight into how this say would differ from the Reminder app?
Also - is there an app available say where you can take a photo of a bill and put it in as a payment reminder in Calendar?

Yes there is. It's called "your fridge door". No android version yet.
' Days Until' 'is an app I use daily. Tells you 20 days til assignment due etc. It won't put a reminder in calendar, you have to look at app but it does allow you to upload photo next to it. Could be a bill. My photos are of family member that the reminder is about. I hope it works for you.
Nice…
In reality this is abusing their system as the free version is technically only for those that had the other. Basically, they screwed up big time, and found the only way to sort it was to allow all their users to revert. See the letter below
Making Things Right
As many of you know, late last year we released a new version of Clear. This new version called Clear+ was built for iOS 7, and a universal app for iPhone and iPad. It was also a new app, in effect a paid upgrade for our customers. Believing that this new app was the best thing for our customers - after all, a universal app was our biggest feature request - we removed the original version of Clear from the store. Shortly after the launch, it became obvious we’d made a huge mistake.
Our existing customers were understandably upset that we were no longer updating the old version of Clear, and that we wanted to charge them for an update. So after much deliberation we changed our plan: we updated the old version of Clear for iOS 7 and put it back on the store. Our sole aim was, and remains, wanting to do the right thing for users.
Since then we’ve heard from customers that they are excited to pick up Clear but uncertain which version to buy - or even worse, users mistakenly buying the iPhone version when they want the universal version.
This confusion and uncertainty isn’t what we want you, our customers, to experience and we’re making an important change that makes things (if you’ll pardon the pun) clearer.
What We’re Doing
We’re going to be returning to just one, universal version of Clear for iOS, with the original version of Clear gaining iPad support. If you already own a copy of Clear, you don’t need to do anything as we’ve just launched an updated version of Clear with iPad support.
As Apple doesn’t offer a way to migrate users between copies of an app, we’re going to make Clear free for 24 hours so owners of Clear+ can move to the correct version free of charge.
To make sure as many people as possible can move to Clear, we’re going to do this twice in the next few weeks. We know this is risky - we rely on the income from Clear to run our small, independent company - and so whilst this was by no means an easy decision for us to make, we simply want to do the right thing for you, our customers.
So how will you know when Clear is free? Sign up below and we’ll let you know each time Clear goes free for 24 hours so you can download it. Remember we’ve never made Clear free before, and we’re only going to do it twice.
I up voted you, but ethics plays little part in the thoughts of an ozbargainer. Free is free.
In reality this is abusing their system
How? I download paid apps that become free all the time on iTunes? How is this any different?
Anybody that has an alert on appshopper will also see that's it's free…
Don't forget that they get publicity as well. There's more in in it for them than just an apology to their existing customers.
Cheers
