Hey Guys!

Was looking for a Monitor Arm and COTD is selling these Kensington arms for cheap!
Looked at other stores and they are selling way above this price

    I'd trust the brand, however, the load limits on this are not given so no one has any idea if typical 27" monitors will be alright. May need to dig further!

    Fits easily to any monitor.

    Gets out NEC 42" commercial monitor

    Edit: This site shows 12kg limit on the monitor arm. It is probably 12kg at full arm extension.

    Was also looking at this but couldn't find any detailed specifications including the dimensions of each component. Ie Arms, pole, mounting brackets etc.

    I just received my order from COTD.
    It is a lie by COTD.

    The product I have received is "http://www.kensington.com/kensington/en/au/p/1427/60903/smartfit%C2%AE-single-monitor-arm.aspx#.Uw2PBIVBoZw" and not "http://www.kensington.com/kensington/en/au/p/1427/60904/extended-monitor-arm.aspx" as shown by the initial pictures that COTD had put up.

    I've written a complain to COTD and I hope they will do something about this.

      oh wow that really sucks. I was thinking the same thing! Saw the picture with the extended arm and thought I would be receiving that.

      The base looks the same, I wonder if they could just source the extendible arm as a spare part from Kensington and ship those out to us …

    They did change the photo. AND I am pretty sure that the description included extendable monitor arm as it does on the ozbargain post. So which one would we be getting, because i need the extendable arm one, the one in the new photo is useless to me…

    Should I request a cancellation or do you think we might get the extendable arm one that was shown first?

          Was thrilled this morning when Aus Post sent me an email telling me my package was with them in the shop.
          was thrilled till I opened the box anyway…

      Every reference about "Extended" are removed from the web page from OP, I look back to my order it says "Kensington Smartfit Single Monitor Arm" !!!! OMG! This is cheating !!! I looked into their cancellation method https://helpcentre.catchoftheday.com.au/hc/en-us/articles/20…. Buyer need to bear the postage cost as well.

      "Catch of the Day" , this is very clean without leaving any trace. Not the way to do business with !!

        Pretty dodgy, I've filed a cancellation and also if they don't cancel and provide full refund, going to lodge a complaint to the ACCC.

      I ordered two this afternoon. I believed me and many other will be like hammer5215, received one that is not the same as in the photo ! As the photo is now updated and nothing mention "extended" in the description. Anyone have the similar experiences before please share.

    Hadnt noticed my order said Single Monitor Arm, it was definitly the extended one when I ordered.
    Too bad as I really wanted these to.
