go for Digi prepaid sims. they offer the best value overall. Maxis hotline will eat up your prepaid credit faster than you can blink your eyes. look up digi's prepaid short term data plans which you can subcribe from your phone, cheap as.

I picked up a Tune SIM card with a few hundered Mb data for less than $10
I have used Digi prepaid simcards every time I'm over there and have found them to be very cheap and reliable. As long as you stick to the main carriers like Digi, Maxis/Hotlink, Celcom etc. you'll be fine.
