After seeing the 55c/Kg watermelon at Woolies I spotted this deal at Aldi in Ashfield mall.

Not sure if this price applies at their other stores (might be worth while to check?). Can other OzBargainers confirm?

EDIT: As mentioned by fellow OzBargainers, this deal has been seen at multiple stores across NSW and VIC. Thanks to those that confirmed locations.

Quality looks better than the ones at Woolies.

Excess amount of watermelon? Maybe its time to learn how to make the infamous rose petal watermelon cake.

We just opened our watermelon from Woolies, it's much much much better than the aldi watermelon from the last deal. So I'd pay 10% more for my Woolies watermelon.
