    Doubt it.. I would suggest you not buy worms from likes of bunnings. Dont know how long theyve been on the shelves.
    Get them from worm farmers .. packaged upon order

      yea would be without worms.

      i got my last lot from http://www.kookaburrawormfarms.com.au/compost-worms/ caus its apparently 5 different types of worms but you can often pick up worms cheaper locally. gumtree is a good place to look.

      you can also use an old bath tub for a worm farm which is what im going to change to once i get around to it. check out youtube/google if your interested

      From memory i think they only ship on Mondays so you would get them on Wednesday at the very latest. Means minimal time for worms in transit. They're based in QLD (I live in NSW) . Was quite happy with them.

  ask t=your local fruit shop/super market for 3 foam boxes. Get some worms from your garden. All are free. Or just pay $59.99 for that.

    I believe compost worms are a different variety to garden worms.
    Foam boxes deteriorate and make a great mess, although the worms will appreciate the extra insulation on cold nights until it breaks down.

      I've been using a polystyrene box for about 18 months and it hasn't broken down yet. It is outside but under the verandah.

  You can always make yiur own worm farm. I personally couldnt be bothered and think the 60 $ woild be well spent for me.
