One year of free dumplings = 1 a week? Shattered. I can inhale a single dumpling.
Still a deal though. And buy one get one free dimsim is like manna from the gods, so long as they are the delicious genuine ones, made up of all weird sorts of unmentionables- the lips, the nose, the asshole and a hint of cabbage etc.

    • It's 1 year of free dumplings = 52 weeks.

I figured a year = 52 weeks already without google. Ok now someone needs to ascertain how many dumplings are in a serve.

Sorry I misread your comment. From the image, it looks like there are 7 per serve. I may be wrong. I forgot to mention all menu items are 25% off too!

        • 7 per serve- now you're talking.

        • +1

this will keep to doctor away

        • Only if you've got good aim. I prefer to eat the dumplings

  • 52 [serve] in total or just 52 in total?
    How many for one serve?

  • +1

going by usual Dumpling shops in foodcourts its 3-4 dumplings per serve (varies depending on size).
Not huge, but if you live or work nearby it's worth a go.

  • Do they have any other locations in Sydney? That's very far from me.

    Down the bottom it says:
*One serving of dumpling per week. $2 servings in total, all rights reserved by Dainty Dumpling House.

So it sounds like you get 1 dumpling ($2 serving) per week, for 52 weeks.

Absolute rort lol!!! Do they think australians are stupid?

It's 52, not $2. Sorry for the bad image.

Wait- It's 52, not $2? What does that even mean? There must be a lot of money to be made from converting Chinese to English, and then to English again.

Many countries think Australians are stupid. I guess our country isn't as bad as America in reputation.

  • The ad makes complete sense. You get 52 free serves of dumplings per year, one serve per week. Not sure how many dumplings per serve but 52 free serves of dumplings sounds like a great deal to me.

    • Not if you have to que for ages.

It's only the first 100 customers, that shouldn't take long at all. Look at dumbarses who sit for days trying to get an Iphone from the Apple Store on release, and they don't get anything for free except people laughing at how lame they are for being so desperate for a phone :)

I wonder if they know what they're getting themselves into?

  • WOw ultimate cheapasses to queue for that…

This is actually quite brilliant. Since its a dumpling house (not yumcha) you'll probably get about 8, which is valued about $8? But since its only one serving, then this is at best an entree and if you end up bringing your friends to eat there that doesn't end up saving you much but they end up with you as a customer.

  • greatest deal ever

    Did anyone here get this?

I lined up at 11:30 and finally got served at 13:30 but I missed out on being in the first 100. :(

    • +1

What was the food like? I'd have expected to have to line up from 10am if you were going to have any chance of being in the first 100. No doubt they will have been promoting it around Rhodes for a while.

Food was good. Had steamed prawn dumpling, deep fried pork dumpling and some other dishes.

The shop is nicely fitted out, you can watch the chefs making the dumplings by hand through a window around the corner of the shop front.

I'm being downvoted for saying "removed garbage" I guess.

well for any retard that downvotes, go to this 'restaurant' and eat the food. if it doesn't make you throw up, it'll definitely remind you of a microwave kraft dinner.
