isn't that more commonly referred to as cardboard? :)
You can make cakes without eggs butter or milk. You just have to make do with using vegetable oil as it makes up for the lack of moisture.
+1 for the crazy/wacky cake. A must have recipe when having kids parties as you can bet at least one of the attendees will be intolerant to eggs, butter or milk.
my friend made me a very nice gluten diary free cake. It falls apart easy, but it is way tasty.
yumYou can make your own but you need to use the right recipe or it won't be a very nice cake.
I would suggest you buy it, even if you plan to make your own I would at least compare it to this one.
There is a gluten/dairy free cake available at Woolworths/Coles in the health food section, its very obvious by the packaging.
try them ( can get it from Thomas Dux Store as well if any nearby)

I personally liked them, tried many times.
If you opt to buy from Thomas Dux, then try making use of 10% off deal or atleast save 5% additionally paying by ING card
Vegan cakes perhaps?
