Looking for a powerbank for charging my phone. I know most are overstated etc. Wondering what a decent budget one for around under $50 is. Atm considering the kogan 6600mah one for $39 inc delivery.

Go to fasttech and buy the Ruinovo series
http://www.fasttech.com/products/1424/10004450/1340309I got my 2-cell Ruinovo and unprotected LG 3000mah lithium batteries (6000mah total). While it had only 1A output, that was enough to charge my ASUS Memopad FHD 10.
There are also 4-cell versions, which can output 2 amps which is what you'll need if you have an iPad or tablet that requires a higher output.

try searching for the brand ROMOSS in ebay.. which I think is much better than what Kogan has.
