      They take after their mother…

it shows as $18 for 4122 in the catalogue.
    $17 with EDR

    • +1

This is over-and-above the catalogue special.

They usually release a late week special online catalogue, but at present it is not on the website.

      • Thanks for the info.
I'll drop by and see today

  • Looks like they have done this to push their rewards card, but to also beat out Coles promo of a 30pack for $17.

  • Why do people buy cans of coke? It is always cheaper to get big bottles.

    • +12

I don't drink a tonne of it so the big bottles go flat

      • +4

Cans are good for taking out and about for meals.

        • -1

Sometimes I just want a small amount of tooth decay.

    • +3

not always! If you buy bottles not on special sometimes they are more expensive than cans (price/L)

    • +1

A bottle is too much to take when you are going out.

      • -1

A bottle is the perfect size for hiding my contraband (scotch) when cruising.

    • +4

We have the occasional Coke mixed drink or mid afternoon Coke-up, so the bottles hang around going flat taking up space in the fridge between hits.

    • +3

      bottles go flat and nasty

    • +1

Big bottles are fine for parties and multiple people. For single use, cans are the way.
Bottles loose the fizz if not consumed in one go.

      • To all those who experience bottles going flat in your fridge… do what I do:
        - wrap a thick rubber band around the lid
        - use rubber band to get better grip to fasten lid as tightly as possible

You'll be able to tighten the lid far more with the rubber band (or use a rubber glove, anything really that will increase grip). Bottles keep their fizz for ages. I've left 2L bottles half empty in the fridge for weeks/months and they've still been fizzy after that long. Of course, the more you open it the more gas you lose in that time… but it still helps.

I never buy cans. Extra recycling, I'm too forgetful to keep some cans in the fridge, and the bottles on special are usually cheaper per litre. Plus I only drink diet soft drinks, which aren't all available as cans.

    • When thirst bites, bottles become convenient, consumed at home and for several reasons.
      Q. Can I buy easily more in a mid-sized bottles
      A. (((12.94 / 9L) / (10.00/ 12.5L)) - 1) * 100 = yes
      79.722% more expensive✘ per $- spent cans.

      Q. Can I drizzle in alcohol incl on the rocks,
      A. Yeh, keep mine chilled in the 650ml Double Walled; get a 2 X 625ml, re-fills $0.50ea
And retain much of that fizz per the lid replaced once, store 1wk+.

      Q. Can I claw '$7.50' back in the form of a hoyts voucher
      A. Yea as by coke rwd token10 labels, codes entered, gets yer 1ticket.

taking a value 1 single (*2for1)/cheap/ screening, make $/L effectively
      (10.00 - 7.50) / (10 X 1.25) =
0.20 $per litre, that's='7.5 cents' a 375mL, when that 'Zero is on spesh.

  • Why do us people in the NT have to pay more for Coke? Seriously WTF!

    • +2

      Transport

    • sa has a 10c can rebate so i assume this covers that???

  • 55c/kg watermelon is extremely good value. Don't think I've seen it anywhere much below 99c all season.

    • -1

      true, but off-topic.

      • -3

Er, watermelon is also one of the 'Late Week' specials and in the same mini-catalogue. Thanks though.

        • -3

er, the title of this post is HALF PRICE 24pk Coke Varieties; $12.94 with EDR Card @ Woolworths.

If you want to comment about the other 50% off specials, I believe there is another post for that.

          Thanks though.

I normally try not to get involved in pedantic discussions with weirdos so… y'know. Seeya.

        • +1

dd22qq, how about posting a deal for the watermelon and the other late week specials?

    • 55c/kg watermelon is extremely good value

      It was 50c/kg this morning…

  • Here we go again.. Last time WW had this special they did not order near enough stock, refused to give me a rain check and tried to sell me a different coke pack set that was not on special..

Probably will try again but its going to be amusing to all the shoppers if they try the stunt again..

    • Agreed! A bit of the old bait and switch.

    • Let us know what happens. Never encountered that myself, but I'd be interested to know if that happens again. Would be a massive thumbs down to WW if it did.

  • +1

    Confirmed works.

Source: box of cans sitting in the trunk.

  • Had issues at Woolies in Brisbane CBD. They didn't seem to know much about it, had to show them the email just so they would scan it at the price. Couldn't see any big stack around and was no tickets advertising it in the normal aisle. At least they had stock before i would imagine when it's changed tomorrow.

  • I haven't been able to find any evidence that this goes until 25th. Can someone please upload a pic of what they have received in email? The shop does not have any ending date on it.

  • Perfect for my sisters cafe!!! She sells them for $2.50 a can. Woolies sent me a 10% discount code and free delivery code for this weekend also!! Worked out to $11.65 a 24 pack- 48.5c a can

I'd share the codes, but the email states they are specific to my email address.
