Has anyone used Divine Relocations as their removalist?

Hi all,

We will be moving on March and saw the shop-a-docket deal from woolworths about this company that charges $89 for 2 hours (including 2 men and a truck).

Has anyone use them before? Do they purposely slow down the move and charge you excessive amounts after 2 hours? Otherwise it seems to be a good price.

Any feedback will be appreciated.

Thanks,

  • There are currently two Google reviews on Divine Relocations. The 'glowing' one has been done by Adam Taylor who owns and runs this business. That is the only way he will receive a positive review.
We engaged this business in December 2016 to move our furniture. We outlined in an email the specific items that he would need to move between houses - and we even reduced the items because we took them in our car and trailer ourselves.
He told us it would take a maximum twelve hours total - at $100 an hour (I now notice this is different to the $89 an hour he has detailed on various webpages).
When he sent his invoice through it was MORE THAN DOUBLE his estimate. We were horrified as the only reason we went with him is because of his estimated removal time for the specific furniture items we advised.
I waited a few days before I replied by email to his invoice and wanted to raise a number of concerns and seek clarification of some things.
Adam Taylor did not reply by email. What my wife and I both received was a series of threatening and absolutely vile and horrifying texts to our respective phones.
I have been in business for over 30 years and from time to time I question invoices I receive. Never, ever have I been exposed to such absolute filth to what were a number of reasonable questions to an over inflated invoice he had sent.
Adam Taylor is the ultimate removalist conman. I would strongly recommend that no-one ever trust this person to remove furniture or personal items. He came across as very polite and courteous on the day (albeit arriving late) - but they were so slow in doing the job they had to spread it over two days.
The texts we received post his invoice we were so close to going to the police given their threatening and foul content.
I have written this honestly and openly in an effort to protect others - this Adam Taylor person should not be in business. And he shouldn't be posting glowing reviews of his business by himself - but I guess that is what a conman does. Stay away from this creep.
