Dam had been waiting ages for a Monaco HB .. broke down at Christmas when it was in a steam sale and bought it…and of course havn't installed it yet.
Luckily I'm up all night tonight so I can get in early on the BTA… wonder what the bonus game will be next week.

    • Bonus "games".

      Great bundle.

    • me too, dammit! should have waited, and saved $3USD!

oh well…still a great bundle. Antichamber is the number one game i've been watching to go on sale, and Dust and Giana Sisters were also on my wishlist. so still a great deal!

  • Other than Giana Sisters (Which I already own), I have wanted every one of these games for a while now!!

Nearly bought a few of them individually, so this bundle is awesome!

Paid $4 for the lot :)

    • Giana Sisters is a damn good platformer, make sure you at least give it a go.

      • Ia this the original c64 version?

        • -1

No, it's a modern remake/sequel by the same developer.

  • +1

Damn, bought Antichamber a few months ago. Never expected it to be on HB. The only game from the group I have played and it feels like playing Portal… on steroids. Way more challenging.

  • +1

I bought Guacamelee Gold Edition no so long ago, almost cost as much as this bundle.

    Still bought this though.

    • +1

      Worth it for Guacamelee alone.

  • +1

I think this is worth it for Antichamber alone. Have been waiting for a good sale and this is it! Thanks.

  • +1

Into the folder of games I have no time to play but are too cheap not to buy with you all!

Installed Civ 5 from the last HB and too scared to make a start on it until my next round of holidays.

  • +1

I've just finished Guacamelee on the vita and had no idea what I was in for.

It's a brilliant game and I highly recommend it.

    Average Windows: $4.00
    Average Mac: $4.78
    Average Linux: $6.01

    LOL, as always.

    • I wouldn't read too much into it, as the selection does default to Windows and the smaller amount of sales on other platforms skew the numbers

      • +2

Huh? There's no place to select Windows.

I always thought they lifted the OS from the reported browser "user agent". So basically, if you buy the bundle using a browser in Windows, it's registered as a Windows purchase. Ditto for Mac and Linux.

So yes, you can read into it. The purchases from the other platforms are statistically significant.

        • At the bottom of your key page it says:

Which platform(s) would you like your contribution to count as, for statistical purposes?

Under this are three check boxes for each OS, not sure if it defaults to your browser OS now, though it never used to

        • Ahhh, so that's what you're talking about! Mine appears to default to Linux, so looks like they do detect the OS. Not sure if they save it, so if you use your account on another machine, the OS settings stay the same.

    • +1

Wow, everyone knows mac users are wealthy, upper middle class types, but I didn't expect Linux users to be such rich 'toffs'. I thought Linux was always about free.

      • +3

I think it's because Linux users are so pathetically grateful to finally have natively available games, they overcompensate.

I say this as a Linux user myself. Yes, I always pay more. See above for reason.

Having said that, seriously, these games are truly amazing value! Even at the price I pay.

  • +2

Insane bundle, recommend all games here.

  • The site says more games coming next tuesday. Is it worth waiting?

    • +8

Same as every bundle, just beat the average while it is low.

You will automatically get the new games when they are released.

  • +1

Antichamber is like nothing you have ever played before, it is amazing.

  • +1

Bought antichamber a few months ago during the steam sale, but I don't mind paying them again. game is worth every penny

  • ya this bundle is awesome. there is not one single weak game. all highly rated.
its great to see a good bundle like this after some of the crap bundles that have come out of humble bundle recently.

    • 4 games for a dollar seems good to me

      • This is ridiculous as pirating these games cost more.

  • if i download via one of the links on their server, does the link to activate in steam go away?

    • If you create an account and attach the deal to your account the steam codes and download links will always be attributed to your account.

  • Holy Guacamelee!

Great bundle and scored me some games I had on my steam wishlist.

  • Has the bundle BTA Price been increasing? Because I just bought it for $4.29 but i'm just wondering whether it'll go down or up. Curiosity that's all.

    • Yes the price fluctuates, Generally upwards as more people pay more to access all content. It was at $4.10 at 8am this morning.

  • Gone are the day of 1 pc per family and sharing the game.
We now have a pc for each member of the family and each purchased a copy of the game.

    • Steam Family & Friends Sharing is currently in BETA, and i'm one of the testers. It's quite awesome, and it uses a 2 Point System Authentication and so in the future we will have this ability and we'll be able to share most of our Steam Games!

      • Really, how is that good for business?

        • +3

Its just bringing it inline with a physical copy, being able to lend it to friends etc. still need multiple copies for multiplayer. Creating a brand you trust and are happy to use is always good for business.

OP, why $1 in the description? It is "paid what you want", and the minimum amount is US$0.01 without the steam keys. (I am not suggesting you do that though)

  • +3

Dust and Elysian tale was one of the best platformers i've ever played. i hope the sole person who made the game gets the opportunity to make more
