Tyres for Nissan Dualis

Hi,

Looking to replace the tyres on my Dualis. The tyre size is 215/65 R16.

The car came fitted with Bridgestone tyres and I have managed to get close to 60000K out of those. I can get Bridgestone ecopia EP850 for around $170 each.

A lot of other tyres are available eg continetal, hankook, pirelli, goodyear, dunlop, michelin etc.

Any suggestions which ones to go with or are they pretty much the same. BTW, the car is used only for city driving.

  • Kmart have Kumho KH17 for $149 at list prices. You probably will be able to get it at least $5 off per tyre. This includes fitting and balancing.

    • Thanks. Good price. How do they compare to Bridgestones?

  • Check Achilles tyres, you might like them. 15,000km with ATR Sport on Falcon with no issues or noticable wear so far.
Performance in not worse than basic Bridgestone, perhaps a little quiter. Price is a joke.

    • Where can I buy these in Australia. A quick Google brought mostly overseas results.

      • Try ebay - a lot of offers there. I used this shop with freight delivery thewheeldeal.com.au

I couldn't find exactly your size there, but 215/60R16 95V will work well and costs only 75$ each. Vehicle will sit on them a little bit lower, there are calculators online but a reckon 1-2cm lower. Speedo will also be off by +2%.
