This is a good price for a basic upgrade but there's no room for expansion later on. The amp will perfectly power the 4 speakers and nothing else, so no sub later on if you're heading in that direction. And no, I wouldn't bridge it to 2 channels and run the speakers on one and the sub on the other. Good for starters though!
