Titanfall PC for $41.58 at GamingDragons.com [With Facebook Code]

61
GMD-FTW-5OFF

Got invited to play the beta of Titanfall and after my first few games I felt like purchasing it. Simplified mechwarrior + FPS… How can you argue?

Out of the few CD key sites I goto I found gaming dragons to be the cheapest.

Titanfall @ $41.58 http://www.gamingdragons.com/en/game/buy-titanfall-origin-ke…

Use code "GMD-FTW-5OFF" for discount at checkout.

Other big titles for PC that I saw were also:
Thief (Steam) @ $29.99 http://www.gamingdragons.com/en/game/buy-thief-2013-steam-cd…
Diablo 3 - Reaper of Souls @ $39.99 http://www.gamingdragons.com/en/game/buy-diablo-iii-reaper-o…

EDIT: I should mention it is USD.

EDIT2: Even cheaper thanks to Motordom for discount code "GMD-FTW-5OFF"

Using this method, you can get Titanfall for approximately $42USD. Requires a little more effort, but you do get a saving.

Multiple below that price, without having to vpn to mexican Origin store.

Brace yourself, the sad video game hipsters are coming with cliched hate posts. Anything popular must be terrible.

    • seething irony

    • +1

Heaven forbid people have an opinion different from yours.

      • I don't have an opinion of the game, I'm yet to download the beta. There's just this mentality with some people to hate anything that is popular or cool, and to make the same tired jokes over and over again.

It's the same group that take "Gaming" far too serious. Sometimes I think they forget that playing games is actually meant to be fun.

Im not convinced with Titanfall yet having played the BETA. Gets a bit boring. hopefully a lot more content will get released

How safe is this site? I got a bad experience with a particular cd key site last time with my Guild Wars 2. My account was suspended and characters gone as a result ("using a fraud credit card")

For those who want it on disc Video Ezy seems to be the cheapest at the moment: http://www.videoezy.com.au/games/titanfall-pc/dp/700159

    No dedicated servers
    60fps lock on pc
No thanks, the Beta is playable but thats all it is, playable. 150-250ping is ok against a 150-250ping, against someone say 0-50 ping however, well theres going to be a lot of butthurt and rage quit. No dedicated servers = piss off EA

    • Hmm.. this game was meant to champion the whole Xbox One "The Cloud(TM)" experience. It was being used for dedicated servers. I guess the PC and 360 version don't get that.

If EA don't have local servers when the game launches, we're all pretty much shit outta luck.

      • The servers are dedicated, they're just not hosted in Australia. Also it's not possible for the community to create their own.

So yes, that does suck. But let's get our terminology correct.

        • OK. But not having local servers is worse than not having dedicated servers. At least if you hosted your own, you'd have a good ping, though everyone else will have a crappy ping.

        • Don't think you understand.

          P2P - No central server

Client+Server - One player both hosts and plays the game (like CoD on consoles)

Official Dedicated server - Hosted by the game's publisher in a few select location around the world (in this case not AU)

Third party dedicated server - Game developers provide server software that can be installed in data-centers to host unofficial games. Eg. Gameareana or games.on.net

Generally PC people want the last option.

        • OK, so I don't understand.

But if there's no ability to play on local servers, this is shit no matter what.

I do not expect p2p mode in an fps. I would prefer the way MW2 did it (random person is host), if we can't have our own dedicated servers than a centralised server in the US where you will always have 200 ping.

    • played 3 hours, maxed level 14 in Beta.
ping around 180-250, South East Asia. Im With Vividwireless (terrible, terrible ISP provider)…

To be fair, that much ping hasn't affected my gameplay, enjoys the game and dominating…

I think because its in Beta, thats why its still not optimized…

      • You can't do much about geographical distance.. retail or beta.

It's rare that companies set up servers in OZ. League of Legends is the only one I know of, and that didn't come till 4 years after the game launched.

You're going to be disadvantaged if you play against americans with better ping. Better skill will make up for the ping disadvantage, but if you run into better skilled americans…

      • I agree with this. Somehow the game doesn't feel too laggy at 180ms but as soon as you have a bunch of people with 20-30 you notice the guys with the lowest ping generally end up on the top of the scoreboard.

I am torn. I want the game as its awesome. But it may not be worth it until Aussie servers as it could get really frustrating. Though I'd say if you end up being good with that sort of ping you will end up being much better as soon as the Aussie Servers are available!

You would think Microsoft would be able to put up servers with their gold partners in Australia as a stop gap measure before Azure arrives for the Xbox One.

I think its quite fun. New type of gameplay

  • It's essentially cod with robots. I can't get less than 200 ms which makes it a real pain to play. Should also consider that there'll be a number of micro transactions considering it's sold by EA. They claim aus azure servers will be released at launch but who knows.

    • The game was developed by Respawn who are pretty much Infinity Ward who did COD.

Couldn't really think of any places where they could put micro transactions. Maybe skins in the future?

      • +2

Yep, supposedly the people who got fired by Activision in 2010.

I can think of heaps of places to add dlc: map packs, additional titans/weapons, bonus xp items, etc.

CoD had them, EA games had them, good chance this will too.

        • Ah I guess that is true.
I would think the dlc would be more for map packs.

Titans/weapons I believe would just allow you to pay to unlock earlier if they implemented that.

However you can't deny infinity ward did make the best cod game.

        • Based on Activision pricing, map packs are something like $15 for 3 maps. And they will release at least 3 of them.

Would not be surprised if there's a season pass.

      • "Couldn't really think of any places where they could put micro transactions. Maybe skins in the future?"

        Plenty of things..
        - New Titans exclusively for those who buy/subscribe
        - Perks, abilities
        - Weapons
        - Maps
        - Game modes

Who knows what else :) Gold Titan? heh

        • -Titan branded condoms.

"No woman wants a man when she can have a Titan…SUIT UP!"

Great price and deal! Even without the coupon code "GMD-FTW-5OFF" that brings it down to $41.58, cheaper than everything else on http://cdkeyprices.com/product/Titanfall-CD-Key
