Elder Scrolls Anthology PC $39.99 + SHIPPING @ Mighty Ape

120

EDIT: Seems like they are out of stock for the deal. Thanks Blancos4Lyf for letting us know.

Shipping starts from $4.95 and varies for some state. I never used their new DHL service before so I'm unsure what the price is.

Great price to pickup the ultimate Elder Scrolls Anthology and prepare yourself for Elder Scrolls Online.

Dovahkiin!

  • Seems like a great price. Only other place I've seen this is EB Games for $99.95. It's a fantastic collection; any elder scrolls fan shouldn't hesitate to pick this up

  • how long does shipping take for mighty ape?

    • From memory, 1-2weeks. They are located in New Zealand, and ship from New Zealand ( I think)

      • It depends. Usually 1 week but they actually do have a warehouse in Australia. I'm not sure where it is as I actually get games from both Australia warehouse and NZ warehouse before.

Australia warehouse usually in a week and NZ warehouse will be 1-2weeks are CyberGenesys said.

  • It is about $55 shipped on EBAY so this is a good deal. The physical maps might be handy…

  • I bought this on release $99 thinking it will be limited. :(

I've got one I ordered last year from Blockbuster Online for $50 shipped, so this is a good buy.

Just a note: It looks a lot bigger in those pictures than it actually is. The faux-leather bound case is a fraction wider than a standard DVD case and about as thick as a Bible or something. Also the maps come on glossy magazine paper, none of that parchment-like, weathered-looking stuff that the Skyrim map was printed on.

It is excellent in terms of packaging, presentation, content and extras but I do have a fairly big gripe with the way the discs are actually stored inside the story book-like inner case.

Rather than having those clip-on disc grooves you get in CD or DVD cases, they simply have some disc-sized cut-outs in the cardboard that the disc slides into (see here: http://cdn.escapistmagazine.com/media/global/images/library/…).
The problem is, sliding them in and out of the thick cardboard (which they have a tendency to stuck in, requiring a lot of abrasive tugging) will scratch the hell out of them. When I received mine some of the discs already had scratches on them just from movement in transit before I even took them out. I keep the discs outside of the case, which kind of defeats the purpose of this special collector's case.

Major flaw that mars an otherwise great collector's item.
