Have you seen prices for theme parks in USA? Same deal would be more than a grand just for tickets.
Go to the sit down restaurants. About the same price, usually a buffet which is good for big eaters. Can buy grog. We always went to thevsit down restaurant in every amusement park.

And the Superpass has a $4.95 booking fee.
So if you want a $10 discount per ticket, you have to purchase separately… but that means $4.95 booking fee for each one.

It shocks me how much the tickets are for the theme parks at the Gold Coast.
$89 for 1 day entry, $100 for 28 day entry, $110 for entry until June 2014.
And if your kid is 3 years old or more, they need a ticket too.
So a family of 4, going for a 1 week holiday to the Gold Coast from interstate (ie, not going back there for a long time), it'll cost $400 for passes for everyone (based on the fact that you'll probably go for 4 or 5 days to the different parks).
Oh wait… there's more!
You arent allowed to bring your own food into the theme parks… and if you want a burger, chips, and small coke it'll cost you $25!!!!!!!
