  Go to Target. Good deals there for a reasonable price. Go for a high thread count. Feels better. Sheets are like you are in a hotel.

  This is really a 'how long is a piece of string' question. It depends on whether you just want cheap and the rest is irrelevant, or whether you want a good price on better quality linen.

  If you're just after cheap, Spotlight regularly has some good buys. If you have a sheridan outlet nearby, they have recently had some ridiculously cheap sales on better quality stuff.

  Was in Coles yesterday and they still had the Tontine pillows for $6.

  Unless you spend $100-plus Spotlight is almost all polyester/cotton mix, this tends to 'bobble' in the areas that are in contact when sleeping. Almost all IKEA's bedding is 100% cotton starting from flimsy 180TC at $20 to the most expensive about $90 for highest thread count embroidered cotton sateen (QB size). They also do 4 pillowcases with all quilt covers over double size (2 with a single).

    It's not just poly cotton that pills. We've had 1000 count 100 % cotton pill also (the ones from 00 (consider yourself warned.)
