eBay is taking them down already.

You can sideload the game for free. A google search will give you dozens of places for you to download the game installer.
And I'm sure someone has a HTML5 version stored somewhere thats playable in all devices.
You can still get it on Android via a manual install. So I'm not sure why people would pay this much money for a used phone when they can buy a new phone and install it themselves.
This whole Flappy Bird thing is ruining my simple life.
There is a PC game called SquishyBird also very addictive. You kill the FlappyBirds.apparently the maker of the game pulled it because he couldn't handle the success of $50,000 per day in ad revenue. - I'd hate that too.
Yep, for anybody blissfully unaware, Flappy Bird is - or as far as being present in the official app stores, was, a simple but maddening and apparently close to unplayable game.
I first became aware of it about a fortnight ago in a Youtube reaction video (there are hundreds now), and decided then and there that I didn't need the grief.
If you're already addicted, I've seen a couple of cheat videos that people have clicked 'like' on in my all-activity stream. I haven't watched them, but maybe there is something there for you, if you're keen.
The guy who created the game - Dong Nguyen - was indeed apparently earning $50K a day from ad revenues, but unless it's been pulled temporarily for sneaky promo reasons, it does appear that the death threats from players driven to despair were starting to get to him…
As others have said above, still easy enough to sideload or otherwise get the game, or you can try some of the copycat games springing up.
'Fly Birdie - Flappy Bird Flyer', 'Flappy Plane', 'Flappy Penguin', 'Smarcle Flyer', 'Flappy Bee', and 'Fluffy vs Flappy Birds'' are apparently some you may want to try.No doubt the original is the best…
No doubt at all that the human race is completely screwed.it does appear that the death threats from players driven to despair were starting to get to him…
probably more the concern about the game being a ripoff of another game as well as the fact that the dev faked his ratings to get it attention which was all about to come crashing down around him…
Either he really caved under the pressure or he is a brilliant marketing mogul.
I wonder how much more traffic he drew to the game by announcing he was pulling it in 24 hours.
Seeing as he makes profit from ad revenue, that would have pushed it way further than the alleged 50k a day.
After all the attention it's bought, if he brings it back, i'd imagine a lot of companies are gonna make some large offers.
Plus doesn't make sense he'd announce the pull, why not just take it off?
Plus doesn't make sense he'd announce the pull, why not just take it off?
it does when you consider the legal storm about to hit him (my comment above)
he wanted to cash in as much as he could before he was shutdown by someone else
Here is why he pulled it from appstore
