I registered successfully for this campaign before Christmas (I got a confirmation email from Amex) and made an initial order in December. I hadn't reached the spend threshold so I made another order at the end of Jan specifically to take advantage before the offer expired on Jan 31st.
Liquorland sent an invoice dated 30/01 but looking at my statement they didn't take the money until Feb 2nd which was after the offer expired. I'm obviously annoyed and was going to contact Amex to see if they could do anything but there doesn't seem to be any contact details for the campaign on my email or online.
Any suggestions? Its a bank issued card so would I be better trying to contact ANZ?
I've heard AMEX are pretty flexible with this type of thing- just give them a call, explain the situation and see what they say. I've had instances where the statement credits come through immediately and others where it comes a week or two later.
