Hi,
Recently I bought a formal dress for my gf, it was advertised (on sale) as $15, from dressesonlineshop.com . I got thru their checkout page and paid via paypal.
Just today I received an email from them saying it was an error, was meant to be $150, not the $15 sale price (even though they quoted on the page Rrp$122). They will not honour the product for the $15 price tag I've paid. Instead they said it's $150 and we will give you a gift.
Why would the sale price be more expensive than the Rrp? Haha… This does not make any sense.
All I know they've done a mistake and they should honour the price I paid.
What can I do now..? I need your help? I'm in Sydney.
Thanks,
Leon
No joy for you, I'm afraid.
Even if there was skullduggery involved in the pricing on the page, site T's & C's + consumer law makes for get-out-of-jail-free cards for anything deemed a 'pricing error' by sellers.
Some, usually when the discrepancies aren't huge, will honour price stuff-ups for reasons of customer goodwill, but they're under no obligation to do so.
