Being released on 2003, SimCity sure is an old game. However, I think its still worth for that price, although its not as pretty, no modular upgrade to each building, and still block system area (not a curvy one like the latest version).
This deluxe package includes SimCity 4 and SimCity™ 4 Rush Hour.

The entire internet thinks the new one is a bit naff. So get this rather than the latest.
They've since canned the whole "online" only component.
Whether this has improved the game or not I do not know.
If you want a great single player SimCity, this is your game. If you want to play with friends, get the latest simcity.
The latest simcity has had a lot of bad press, but it's great fun working with friends in a region!
I know this a great game, but shouldn't this like a $1 by now? Or the very most $1.99.

Definetly recommend getting the Network Addon Mod for this game. It a stable build and greatly enhances the travel aspect of the original, plus fixes a lot of little 'annoyances' due to the age of the game.
Damn, I got excited when I first saw this and thought it was the new SimCity game for $4.99. SC4 has been offered for this price many times before. It would be nice to see it for less.
If you're into city builders I recommend you check out Banished, an indie game being released in a few weeks. I could not be more barred up for this game.
Should get Sim Tower instead.
