PVR - Any Bargains? Topfield, Humax, Samsung or T-Box?

I've ditched Foxtel and am looking for a dedicated PVR.

I like the look of the Topfield ones but did see some bad reviews of the cheaper models. I am leaning towards this model which at 300 bucks doesn't seem too bad…

I was also looking at the T-Box, it's not THAT expensive at $15 a month over 24 months but there's some debate over whether it's any good.

What would you recommend and have you seen any good specials? I'd love something that I can transfer the shows off for storage when I've finished with them but it's not an absolute must.

Any help would be appreciated!

    Don't know about bargains, but the Panasonic Pvr 835 (and two other smaller hard drive models) is good. The feature i was after was remote smartphone recording like foxtel, which it has. I like to set my shows to record when im not home. Maybe other brands have it too? It also records two shows at once. Dick smith has included them during their 10% off 6pm -midnight online sales. People on this site recommend it.
