Am pretty sure it's the normal price. Keep in mind that these are basically for 2 year old and have no power at all. Need to be on a flat hard surface (like a timber deck) to be able to move, and when they move they crawl (literally like a baby crawling!). Great for a small toddler if you have a hard flat surface, but don't bother if you plan on using it on the grass - it won't move!

Doesn't really matter how fast it is, it'll only last a couple of days anyway :) But for $38, who cares.
Got one at Christmas for my 2 year old at the same price, so its not a sale but thats not to say it aint a bargain.
Ours works well on carpet and on our lawn too.
Hi, is it rechargable battery? how long the battery will last?
I've had one of these for two years. It worked great for a year, then we got a toddler and he went nuts on it, so we stopped charging it, and somehow it ended up outside in the open for the last year.
Two weeks ago I decided to see if it worked and charged it overnight. Amazingly it still works, the kids played with it for a couple of hours.
I might go and charge it again now for them.
How good are they? I should get one for my 1 year old nephew. Maybe his dad can push it if he's a bit too young
They are good, the kids loved it. We had 5 and 6 year old kids riding it around. Might be too small for large kids.
Our toddler used to get on it and ride it into everything, and under tables banging into everything. So we stopped charging it.
You really do need to follow anyone under 3 around to make sure they are careful.

Visit a car battery place and upgrade that battery to a car battery and watch it gooo for a full day of fun!!!!!!
Is that an offhand comment or speaking from experience. I would think about getting a 12V motorbike battery if it made it go faster.
The problem with them is that they're bulky and heavy. I've used a 3 cell lipo battery in a similar quad and it really motors along now.
Where can we buy this 3 cell lipo battery and how much ?

They've probably set up the wrong item 'weight' in the system, this is how it calculates shipping. You'll have to speak to BIG W online support to get that fixed.
I got it up and running for the first time over the weekend. It was really slow and only last 15 mintues after a full night of recharge.
Could anyone confirm how long they got from one recharge?
