Steps to making my afternoon enjoyable:

  1. Awarded a work contract
  2. Realised I'd need some shirts (current attire unsuitable for meeting with other humans).
  3. Visited bensherman.com.au, saw they had a good sale, plus another 40% off already reduced prices with promo code TAKE40, plus free delivery.
  4. Found 5 good shirts that sell for $80-$100/each in local shop, for $170.00 total including free delivery.
  5. Selfishly completed order prior to posting on Ozbargain.

      Must of shut it down to fix the coupon up. After the guy said posted further 25% it stayed online for another 10 mins with only additional 200 people seeing.

      Yup I got the stacked discount, though you need to try it like 1000 times before you get there. My basket got emptied 3 times during my attempts and got the error messages at the suburb drop down bar. The trick is to pick your state first, then suburb, then fill out the rest of the form (that's what I did to get through).

    Just got my order through after LOTS of refreshing etc. Happy times.
    Based on my earlier orders (placed before the site got smashed) the confirmation e-mails take about 10-15 minutes to arrive.

    I hope they honour it, but without exaggeration - I had to refresh it about 80 times. Once your email address is confirmed, it clears your basket - so have everything open in another link to avoid starting over again.

      I agree my items were 17% off not 40%. I will email them. Mine was $347.85 and went down to $288.65.

      so items on special get reduced a further 40%, items not on special remain full price :(

    After much difficulty, finally managed to place my order, only to find the TAKE25 code was no longer on the order, and TAKE40 only worked on 2 of the 3 items (I ordered 2 of the 1 item in different sizes, and the discount appears to have only worked on the first). Have email'ed - let's hope their customer service is on the ball.

    Has anyone received their invoice? They charged me more on the invoice, than what was confirmed on the 'order confirmation'.

    It looks like they removed the 25% discount off my purchases - and last night, they charged my credit card and have reversed it and charged me again.

    WTF?! I've just received e-mail from Ben Sherman with new total of my purchase!!!
    After I placed an order using TAKE25 and TAKE40 total was $24.15 - I received confirmation e-mail.
    Today I got e-mail saying total for my order is $40.25 and I got charged that!

      UPDATE:
      I haven't been charged $40.25, I said it too quick ;-)

      After sending e-mail to Ben Sherman they answered pretty quick saying:
      "I can see how this looks bad however I can confirm that you were not charged $40.25
      Has your card been charged again for the additional amount?
      If so, please send me the proof and I will get a refund for the difference fixed up right away."

    I must say this is one of the best customer service I have received in my whole online purchasing history..
