  Is it just me, or are the rates higher online?
  I wanted Flora Cholesterol reducing spread, which is 9.16 AUD for 500 gm online, which I buy regularly for 8.49 AUD and sometimes for around 7 AUD on special.

    Its probably the same as Coles. They offer cheap delivery, or in this case free. But the prices are always much higher then normal.

    Makes it pointless.

  Yes, Woolworths homeshop.com.au prices are more expensive than normal Woolorths.

    So you normally pay for delivery, and still pay more for the goods? That doesn't make a lot of financial sense.

  As with Coles also, you'll be paying a premium price for a "premium" service.
  This certainly isn't the cheapest way to shop, but for some people or at certain times, it is more economical (time/money) to shop online for groceries than arrange transport to/from the local shopping centre.
