Air Asia are having a decent airfare sale that is exclusive to their range of mobile apps. I installed the Air Asia app on my Windows Phone 8 handset and got a $368 return airfare between Melbourne and KL in mid October.
The sale is exclusive to their mobile apps and mobile website. Bookings need to be made between now and 2 February, and the travel dates are between 1 September 2014 to 30 November 2014.

i checked it out on my iphone app and also the mobile web page, but I'm not getting a promo price for September and early October :( anyone else getting this problem?

yeah this is not showing any flights for my search - gold coast to singapore return and yet I can get flights on their website for the same dates

The way I got my fare was to first go to their regular website and do a monthly view of commencing in September. I then found the suitable departure and return dates during the sale period (1 Sep to 30 Nov) using that view. Once I determined the cheapest departure and return fares that matched my travel requirements, I then fed those dates into the mobile app. Each of the fares the mobile app returned was about $100 cheaper than the lowest fare shown on the website.
I got $317 AU for a number of days in October, ADL to KL return, on my Blackberry 10 app :)
