Well not coffee you can drink but used coffee grounds for your garden.
Every Tuesday they put out free coffee for your garden.
Until stocks last.

i.e. while they still have stocks.
nice!
Nice, simple and sustainable. Very ikea-ish.
They have this at IKEA Tempe as well. Usually after the checkouts, between checkouts and the refunds section.
(don't know if it's always there though, but have definitely seen.)
Is it just sitting there or do you need to ask someone? Can you remember what time of day/which days you might have seen them?
lol I used to be there everyday so dont remember what days.
They were usually there all day though and just sitting there in plastic containers, don't need to ask anyone.
It's pretty much before the large exit doors, towards the exchange/refunds area.
Just be careful if you have pets such as cats and dogs
Careful of what exactly?
Until stocks last.
"While stocks last", or until they run out.
Starbucks used to do this too; I haven't been in to one for ages, so they might have stopped. Your local cafe will probably give them to you for free as well.
They're said to act as a mild, non-toxic slug and snail repellent.
Lol. Free trash. Times certainly are hard.
Free, spent coffee grounds are not rubbish if you are a gardener.
You can find value in anything if you open your eyes.
Pretty much any coffee shop will give you their grounds if you ask (best to let them know in the morning and pick it up a little while later). They generate a LOT every day and it appears to go to the trash although a surprising number of other customers ask for them too because it's apparently good for roses.
I had heard it was good for stopping ants. That turned out to be a bunch of baloney or a specific kind of ant that doesn't exist in my garden. I also thought it might smell nice in the morning but the grounds have a kind of burnt espresso smell instead of that nice coffee aroma you're probably used to.
But you know, whatever. Like Brawn-o they have what (some) plants need so use it :-P
Same. My local one gives it away for free upon request.
But you need to add some lime or gypsum to balance the pH, otherwise you'll your plants might not grow properly. It is also good for changing the colour of certain flowers.
Spent coffee grounds are good for composting, especially vermicomposting (worm farms). As a mulch it is too acidic for most plants and vegetables. Acid loving plants will obviously benefit. I've never heard of it being a deterrent for any pests.
Yep, any coffee shop will give you their used grounds. As far as they're concerned this is waste and it will save them money to have it removed
Could cover up the smell of manure or dog poo
They always do this every week.
