      Keep in mind bass and all sound in general is subjective. They are not heavy in bass, but they are not lacking in that department either, as the sound is somewhat balanced the bass is more in line with the rest of the sound. Normally sticking on the comply or finding silicone tips with a narrower hole will juice up the bass somewhat. The standard silicone tips on the Deltas is a wide hole, which is better for the mids and highs.

      curious the review says no bass, but also a V sound signature.

        It's not really v shaped, sound curve analysis would also show that. I would say just read more than one review, the on going user review thread on headfi is best to read for various opinions. I do agree if you mainly listen or prefer bass heavy songs the Delta bass will not be enough.
