Join in the great Australia Day festivities on the harbour and come along to the Free BBQ and light entertainment hosted by the NRMA.

"NRMA BBQ by the Bridge, Dawes Point Park from 11am on Australia Day January 26, 2014."

This event will be popular and is first come first serve basis so be early on the day as everyone loves a freebie!

  It's Sydney.. they raise the prices without raising the bar in service quality. I still get those horrible non-air-conditioned trains.

  Don't know anything specific to long weekend, but normally,
  
  $7 for all-day at No. 1 Martin Place Parking Station, which is bit far away ( 2 kilometers down George St. )
  
  $2 an hour Hickson Road 10-P Street parking. Its closer with lots of spots alongside Barangaroo.
  
  A few closer by parking stations are normally $10 all-day.
  
  No. 1 Martin Place is the closest NRMA discount parking http://www.mynrma.com.au/members/member-benefit/secure-parki… . You don't need your membership number.
  
  There is street parking available at Dawes Point but is 2-P (2 hour)
