I would highly recommend this place that's $3.50 all day long.
If you like Sashimi this is your place !

Plus they are really Japanese not Taiwanese or Korean.

  • I can't speak for the Victoria Point store, but whenever they put on this $3 day at my local Sushi Train (Cairns), they reduce the size/quality of the sushi. Last time made me feel like I was getting what I was paying for… $3 sushi.

    • I've been to a couple in Brisbane (Greenslopes and Sunnybank) and the size and quality was still good/the same. My only gripe was that the stores were very crowded and in the case of Greenslopes a 45 minute wait for a seat.

Also, I'd recommend ordering from the menu as the train is usually crowded with chicken and avocado type sushi. Still $3 per plate.

OR just do take away. Always works better on these days.

  • There is ALWAYS a queue outside the Bondi Junction store at meal times.

    • I think the reason for that is that there are so many bad sushi places in Australia. Even though Sushi Train is not the world's best sushi it is always a pretty decent standard and has a good selection of the more traditional sushi (raw fish, various other seafood, egg, inardi, etc.). You know what you're going to get at a Sushi Train restaurant.
