Went into JB HiFi to get these as I had received a JB Gift Card and Googled it before asking for best price and found O/W with $68.97. JB matched it in the store - a very good price as its been $99 at JB's forever.
Beautiful sound from these headphones.
Except HD419 will have inferior sound.
and a shorter cord :(
3m cord is good for me when practicing guitar :)

These are basically updated and more comfortable HD201's; in the words over-priced rubbish.
I've given up on low and mid-range Sennheiser cans after owning HD201s, 202s ,438s, 449s, 518s and 280s. They're all just badge-marketing rubbish imo and none of them can do a fully balanced soundstage, they're either tuned for incredibly tinny and flat highs or heavily distorted lows (and even then the bass is always lacking as any in-depth review will state). I have some el-cheapo, Philips bargain bin headphones (SHP2500) that I prefer over all of those models I just listed.
I will state for the record however that the CX870 IEMs are my favourite IEMs of all time and I'm still using them after 6 years.
HD429 comes with a 3m cord which may not be for everyone.
HD419 has a shorter cord, at the moment $69 from Officeworks.
