Need to buy: iPhone 5 8pin to 30pin audio adapter on the Gold Coast (need to pickup instore)

I am trying to find a store that sells cheap 8pin to 30pin audio adapters on the Gold Coast. I have a friend visiting from OS and I forgot to bring mine up so she can listen to her music on our road trip and we don't have time to wait for shipping.

I know the Apple store has them for $30-$40, but if anyone knows a store when I can get a knockoff one, I would really appreciate it. The cable style one would be preferable, but either is fine.

    Don't buy the Audiosonic brand adapter from Kmart - I bought one over the weekend and it charged the phone ok but no audio.

        Apparently these things don't exist apart from online shopping. If this has taught me one thing it is how much I hate retail shopping.

          yep! Shopping for a bargain can be a frustrating exercise sometimes. You might just have to go for the apple item.
