No I know some hate Market Research but many people love it - especially when they get the chance to try new things, see new things etc before they are out. And I know many OzBargainers love giving their opinion :)
I work as a recruiter across Australia looking for people to take part.
I've asked the moderator if it is ok to post some things on here and I hope you all don't mind as well.
Most of the time - I just send a email out to registered people on my database but sometimes I get stuck looking for the right people and need to try other things.
I supply a link to a site called survey monkey where you answer a few questions so we can find the people who fit the right criteria.
Clients often ask for very difficult things so what you think might be easy to qualify for actually isn't.
You might need to shop at one particular store, like or dislike one particular brand of food etc and we are not allowed to give away what we need as a lot of people will answer the way they think we want.
Other times though, we have nice easy jobs and it's easy to get chosen.
I always try to keep the questions down to only a couple of minutes time on survey monkey so you are not wasting too much time and effort.

LOOKING FOR MOBILE PHONE USERS - MOORE PARK, SYDNEY
We are currently recruiting Mobile Phone users for some Focus Groups in Sydney (Moore Park) over the next few weeks.
The topic is about Mobile Phones and we are looking for a range of demographics.
You are not able to select the group time you want - it depends on how you answer the screener questions but you can select the days and times you are available to take part.
Then if you qualify for one of the times you select we can call to book you in.
Participants will receive $100 cash for the 2 hour session.

PRODUCT TRIAL & SHOPPING TRIP - BONDI/EASTERN SUBURBS AREA
We need some mums or dads of primary school aged children to take part in the following research.
It will be for a mix of phone/email and accompanied shopping interviews at your local supermarket, and a product trial.
The whole interviewing process involves:
A half hour phone interview (this to be done next Wed 15th)
You will then be emailed some questions to answer by email – this will be about what you put in your children’s school lunchboxes (so you will have to try and remember what you did last year!), and what you buy, and how you decide.
Then meet at a local supermarket for a 45 – 60 minute accompanied shop and chat either on a bench seat outside the supermarket or a nearby café (this will be on Friday 17th January afternoon or evening in the Eastern Suburbs/Bondi area)
You will also receive some new products to take home to try for you and your children – bagel crisps in snack sized bags, with a short questionnaire you can simply email back – it’s just about which flavours you liked best but we want responses from the kids too
As well as the products you will also receive $100 cash paid on the day of the shopping interview.

TRARALGON RESEARCH - REGIONAL VICTORIA
We are looking for Males to take part in a 1.5 hour Focus Group in Traralgon on Thursday 16th January @ 5.45pm.
The Topic is about General Health & Family Planning and we need guys who are in a relationship and are seriously thinking about having a child or children in the next 5 years.
