spend some time and do research, your definition of good food will change and isnt indicative of money

happy to hear any suggestions you have - research lead me to premium foods over supermarket products (which i used to buy) - I guess you might be referring to raw diets? My pets get this occasionally but not always convenient.

        • happy to hear any suggestions you have

i tend to go something close to the BARF diet with some pasta, rice and vegi scraps etc. my rotties also love to get a raw carrot as a treat every couple of days and a raw (in the shell still) egg maybe once a month.

but mostly i do agree with whiteflame

        • i do not disagree that feeding animals a fresh or raw diet you would assume that logically would be healthier than any packaged food. However, the science and research that goes into some of the premium brand foods may outdo fresh/raw in some aspects. Good food probably isn't indicative of money, although when comparing supermarket brands to these ones i think it really is on this occassion.

I will look into BARF idea.

  • Perfect timing to get my Nutro Chicken & Rice Formula 15kg. Nearly went to Better Pets n Gardens for retail.
    Cheers OP.

Edit: Actually, better pets price match.
http://www.pawsforlife.com.au/price-match do the same -10% but I don't think it extends to "Sales"

They are in my area so I wonder what their in-store price is. Will pop and see them tomorrow. Cheers Couta
