Prices are standard for grey import what's the big deal.

    Whats the big deal,normal prices??

to some people it might be not a big deal to save $100-$200 because they are grey import, but to people with tight budget but also wanna enjoy the new tech gadgets, it is quite a deal to save 'a bit', even they might face hassle with warranty or blah blah. For example, a Nokia 1520 is now only available at Harvey Norman in Australia (exclusively, don't know how long this would be, probably for the first 6 months of launch) and sold for $894, imagine you can save at least $200 from getting it @Kogan. Also, faulty products happen everywhere, even with local Au stock from retailers like Harvey Norman, I used to get a Nokia 1020 and found out a faulty screen within the first 2 days, hence I returned it for a new one (the franchisee even asked me a silly question, 'why does this bother you when it is only a small patch of the screen?'), that means customer services is also a key role for your decision to shop with which store, not just local stock and warranty issues.

  • To people who love Nokia Lumia 1520, this is surely a deal for price, you might not like its size but its battery life, screen techs, videos and photos quality taken from the camera, etc are amazing features on a phablet ;)

  • i dont understand whats with this big fuss grey imports, grey imports???

its one the same item like the one you buy here in retail, only the item that we have here has been taxed on arrival, then again taxed when sold to the retailer, and once more taxed when you bought it! All the phones come from one, the same, factory, just desperate governmental and retailer scare tactics to make you pay hundreds of dollars more for the same thing.

Only thing is maybe a bit about warranty that you gotta send it back, wait etc. But your gonna be waiting the same if you take it to the official service, till they send it repairing etc.

No, this is not correct in the case of the iPhones (such as the 5c listed by the OP).

Apple Australia replace Australian market phones here in Australia with no 'waiting' for repairs.

Also, there is the matter of 'out-of-warranty' replacements. Australian market iPhones are eligible for 'out-of-warranty' replacements here in Australia (at a cost) both within the first two years and in the future.

HK/China/Macau market iPhone would have to be returned to HK for replacement within the ONE Year Warranty period if the problem were within the warranty terms. I doubt that Kogan HK Ltd. would assist with any 'out-of-warranty' problems (eg. phone damaged by accident, water damage, etc.).

  • I saw that DWI were selling the HK/China/Macau Market iPhone 5c 16GB for AU$612 delivered.

How much are Kogan HK Ltd. charging for delivery?

    • delivery varied from around $20 I think, just put your postcode in and tick delivery insurance if want to see the total price

      • delivery varied from around $20 I think

So, on the iP5c Kogan HK Ltd. is from $619 delivered against $612 delivered from DWI.

    • lol, I would not say/assume that you are associated with them. I dealt with Kogan before, not really excellent, how about this dealer?

But not sure about the company and their service
    someone able to inform?

    • shipping is killer from them :P (showing $75 for me, think it was the same price last time I checked)

Shipping kills the deal, these guys play games by reducing phone price and bumping up shipping. Oldest trick in the book. It used to be an ebay thing.

  • Typical Becextech charges over the top

    Delivery ChargesAU$74.95

  • Thanks OP. Cheapest iPhone 5c I saw was from Kogan $549 (free delivery) a couple of months ago. Thought the iPhone 5c's would drop lower later.
