As I live in an abyss where time has no meaning, I cannot get any mobile reception 3G, 4G, 10G. I actually don't mind the solitude but when I use online banking, they usually send an SMS to me which I don't get.
Is there any telco company which allows you to receive/check your SMS online via the PC?
I know you can send SMS this way.
won't work. OP says can't get mobile reception. Needs a fully online service.
these apps need to receive the SMS on the phone before forwarding.
Just leave the phone with family/friend in area that got mobile reception and make sure the battery always fully charged.
another alternative, put the SIM card in sms gateway modem and connect it to a PC..just my 2 cents
